Assignment 2 Part 1(1)
Ada, is a happy robot made with a mechanical arm that is situated in a factory. His job in the factory is to move cargo boxes from a conveyor belt and stack them up. Ada, enjoy his work in the factory.
One day, as always, the robot is happily stacking up boxes in the factory. The robot enjoys it works and do it very carefully, moving each and every box slowly than stack them up one by one.
Stacking boxes seems so fun, as it seems like a challenge to even stack them properly and accurately, also the ability to prevent them to fall of the stack.
Ada, continues to work until......

Mecha Arm, Rigging
Through this exercise i learnt about rigging , animating with parent constraints and the usage of
hierarchy window

Bouncing Ball
This exercise let me learn how to animate in 3D environment.
Though looks easy, to get every single bounce and the feel of it bouncing with or without energy
is harder than it looks.
Took me awhile to be able to get the correct feel, in the end still manage to complete it XD

Model
Story
The mouse was on the train rolling happily around on the tracks. But it wasn't all that well, before the mouse knew it, there was a missing track in front! It's too late for the mouse to stop the train!!
Just when the mouse thought it was going to end, a cat like create appeared. Hmm, who was it? Its round and blue. A white tummy and a pouch? What is he doing? It looks like it was digging for something in its pouch. As the mouse approached the missing tracks he finally saw who it was.
It was Doremon!! In the nick of time, Doremon had pulled out a missing track from its pocket and fixed the tracks!!
"What a life saver!!" the mouse thought, looking back and waving at doremon thanking him for the help.

Week 4 Elearning
Does multi-tasking give you a real or false sense of having accomplished something?
Multi-tasking does not give me any sense of accomplishment. To me, i only multi task in class when the subject or topic is easy to absorb and does not need much concentration to accomplish the things that are needed to be done. As the topic get harder, I probably will not multi task at all.
Yes i agree.
No, i do not really think that my learning style is the best way to learn. I particular do not have any idea about how to change my work style, even though the working style currently isnt the best way, i feel comfortable with it.

--------------------------
Is learning 3D and design different from learning programming, or is all learning the same? Why?
I do not think that learning 3D and design from learning programming is the same. To me 3D and design is more about interest and more about practice make perfect. For programming, it about understanding the sequence and how the apply the codes.
Therefore , i think that learning 3D and design from learning programming is not the same.

WashBoard Modeling
Track Modeling
Track Modeling
First, we start with, importing a image, onto a plane polygon. than we trace it with a create polygon tool
After tracing, i manage to create a polygon of that shape. This shape look like a front view of a track.
After that i extruded the face, to create the track.
After extruding it, i bevel the edges for the completion of the straight tracks
Than we use the bend tool to bend the straight track into a curved track.
Techniques
Creating a polygon with the create polygon tool, Extruding faces, Bending
Reflection
This exercise to me is pretty easy, but even when easy, when i first tried i encounter a bit of problem with the instruction, as it take more explaining than just reading to understand. After awhile and a few tries i manage to get it.

Bucket Modeling
Bucket Modeling
First, i create a plane, than blin it with a image. Than i use the create curve tool to draw out the profile of the bucket. Than i revolve it to get the shape of the bucket.
Than i extrude the side of the bucket
I draw another profile with the curve tool to create a profile for the connector, than i revolve it to get the connector, after that i duplicate it to get two connectors, left and right.
Than by using the 3 cubic curve tool, i created a curve for the handle than i create a profile for the handle with the curve tool than i extrude it along the handle to get the handle shape. Than i use the transform tool make the handle connect to the connector.
Completed
Techniques
Control Vertex, Mirror Geometry, Soft Selection
Reflection
I personally feel that this exercise is the hardest to complete, took me awhile to understand the use of the tools.

CardBox Modeling / Gear Modeling
Box Modeling
Completed =)
Techniques
By using the extruding tool, a smooth command to add the complexity of the object and a wave deformer tool
First, we create a cube polygon, than add segments onto the box and adjust the size
Than by using the vertex, to move the top segments, for a face to appear. Than by using the extrude tool, extrude the face down to the bottom of the polygon, this make a interior which make the cube polygon now look like a box
Than by extruding the side faces, i manage to get the flaps for the box. than using the move tool while selecting the vertex of the corners of the faces, i manage to separate them into 4 different flaps
After that, by using the rotate tool, and the pivot point manipulator , i manage to move the box's flaps away from the box more. This also enable me to change the direction of the flaps.
Than i use the edge loop tool to add segments on the boxes.

Than i use the edge loop tool to add segments on the boxes.
After that. I move the interior vertex created with the edge loop tool, to jagged the flaps to make the box more old looking or realistic looking.
Than i smooth it and proceed with deformers.
By adding the waves effect, i make the box look more old in age.

Reflection
This exercise is fun, it allows me to have a feel on how to make a polygon into a real life object.
And by adding the waves and the jagged edges, it allows me to create a old looking box which look more realistic than a plain model.

Toy Block Modeling
So for the first exercise, after doing the robot. First we create a cube, shape it into a cuboid. After, using a new skill Bevel, i bevel the edges to make the cuboid with a rounded edge.
Than i duplicate the cuboid. Secondly on the practice, i split the face of the cuboid. This allows me to pull the vertex at the side of the edges ad maintain the center, allowing me to create a triangle shaped polygon. Than i bevel it to make the edges rounded.
Duplicating the triangle shaped polygon, i used a new technique called Boolean. it allows me to create a hole right in the middle of the polygon, using another polygon. In this exercise, i used a cylinder polygon with the triangle shaped polygon to create something that looks like a bridge.
Techniques
In this exercise, i have learned to used the bevel tool and the Boolean tool.
Reflection
It my first lesson of modeling excluding the robot that was done, by using only primitive shape, now i see roughly how models are created.

Week 1 Lab 2 (Robot)
This robot is named X-0263, it is co-made with its partner X-0264.
Both of them are created by Robot-Making Company to be served as attendants in a cafe.
Both of this robot are special, they were made with a protoype chip that enable them to think, and control themself.
Since i made that way, the only dream both robots have are to be the best cafe attendant in history as robots =)

Week 1 Lab 1 Exercise 3
Both the prison buildings have an overall angular shape, and is constructor to be firm and huge, giving a feeling that it is solid and impenetrable.
Both the building are built with different shapes, most with rounded edges and varies in height. This gives a more fun feeling, and a happy mood.
